MONIES, Goldsmiths Gerda and Nikolai Monies founded this internationally renowned Danish jewelry company in 1973. It was built on the love of using unconventional natural materials and oversized avant-garde jewelry. Monies has collaborated with some of the biggest fashion houses like Chanel, Donna Karan, and Christian Lacroix. Currently, Monies has opened stores in Paris, Rome, Milan, and Istanbul. Their jewelry is handcrafted at their workshop in Copenhagen, Denmark, using materials sourced from around the world. Materials include horn, bone, wood, shells, precious stones. amber, fossils, mammoth, leather and much more. The beauty in the variety of materials used is accentuated through the designs.
